In 2012, our club was founded by Laurel Russell and Kimberly Steier (Hanna). Since then, we have grown and flourished. Right from the beginning, we developed our vision of the kind of group we wished to become.

This is our vision:

“As a group we have decided that we want to create a positive learning environment; One where we can learn from the strengths of our colleagues, as well as mentors in our field. We will be a group of varying skills, thoughts

and beliefs, and ages, with varying levels of experience, from novice to professional. It is our varying skills that we hope will bring together and form a strong and positive learning environment, where people can expect to be accepted, challenged, encouraged, praised, and respected. This will be a group where criticism will be of a positive nature, and should be withheld, unless feedback is asked for.”
